You asked, we answered
Have a question? At Marumbi Modelismo, the complete satisfaction of our customers is always a top priority. We've compiled a list of some of the most popular questions, accompanied by our thorough answers. If you can't find what you're looking for, please contact us.
The model you made is discontinued, could you make a new batch/when will the next batch come out?
Our locomotive runs are limited so we can have more flexibility when producing our models, so we don't need to be stuck producing a model from a past run, while we are already two/three projects ahead. Regarding whether we will make a new run of a certain locomotive, we cannot say if it will really happen, we are following the national market and if we feel the need to make a new run, we will.
What is the deadline?
Each new order is placed in our production queue and delivered as soon as it is completed. As a result, each order takes a certain amount of time to complete. This time may be longer or shorter depending on the number of orders placed at the time, but it is rarely less than 30 days.
Do Locomotives already come painted and/or motorized?
We do not offer a painting or motorization service on our models, however, within the operation manual, there is an indication for the painting of models and miniature painters, in addition to the recommended motorization for your model.
What is our Warranty policy?
We will do our best to ensure your model is serviced for any manufacturing defect that has passed our quality control and we will repair your case using components or even replacing it entirely. However as our production is limited, we will only keep a limited quantity of each part for this purpose. Once they run out, just like the locomotives, none of the series you own will be produced.
Damage from running your locomotive at full speed on a 360mm Frateschi 4188 curve on the edge of your model, damage from adding realistic aging by placing your locomotive on the roof for 3 months, damage from intentionally setting your locomotive on fire for your Youtube channel, damage from leaving your locomotive in your backyard in the rain or any other type of damage caused by your unorthodox and/or model railroad related activities to your locomotive will not be covered by the warranty.
However, if even so, some ethylic catastrophe befalls your locomotive and you need parts, get in touch, we will be happy to try to help and charge you for it. Don't be shy about contacting us, we want to have a laugh with you.
