The TPD tank was designed to be used with 29" Locohobbies (HOm) or Kadee 28" (HO) wheelsets, while the TPR Tank was designed to be used with 33" Intermontain, Kadee, Exactrail (HO) wheelsets or any other wheelset 33" equivalent.
We also recommend the use of Kadee Whisker type couplings (#158) where the coupling can be installed directly on the wagon as we supply the box.
